National Executive Vacancy - VP External!

The Young Liberals of Canada are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Vice President External. The successful applicant should have knowledge of the YLC organization and innovative ideas about young people and politics.
Duties of the successful applicant will include:
* Initiate and maintain communications with non-part organizations
* Develop of programs designed to promote the Liberal Party in those organizations including encouraging Young Liberals to be active and prominent in those organizations
* Maintain an undated list of youth, student and other appropriate organizations in Canada and on at least two occasions per year contact these organizations encouraging them to express their concerns of the Young Liberals of Canada.
* Other such duties as designated by the National Executive including but not limited to Co-Chairing outreach committees.
* Be familiar with the commission structure of the Liberal Party of Canada
* Liaising with non-partisan youth and community organizations
* Initiate and maintain communications with non-part organizations
The successful applicant:
* Must be a member of the Young Liberals of Canada
* Bilingualism a definite asset
* Knowledge of the structure of the YLC
* Voluntary experience with other youth groups is an asset
