This week: Michael Ignatieff comes to a campus near you!

OTTAWA - Young Canadians across the nation are gearing up today for the arrival of Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff on their campuses, as Mr. Ignatieff travels to eleven different colleges & universities this week for special town hall meetings.
“While no one can remember the last time Stephen Harper engaged young Canadians about the future of their Country, I am thrilled that Michael Ignatieff is demonstrating the necessary leadership to travel across this country just to listen to Young Canadians,” said Sam Lavoie, President of the Young Liberals of Canada.
Mr. Ignatieff’s tour will take him to every region across the country to hear the best ideas and vision that Canada’s youth have to offer.
“Michael Ignatieff not only understands the importance of youth to Canada’s future, but he is also showing he will not hide from them like Stephen Harper,”added Keith Torrie, National Director of the Young Liberals of Canada. “He is going to show that he is ready to take the tough questions and let young Canadians know he needs their help to build the Canada we all dream of.”
The Young Liberals of Canada encourage young Canadians of all political STRIPES to attend a townhall close to them and to get involved in building Canada’s future.
